What standards do your helmets meet?
All SAW™ products are manufactured to meet many international ballistic and/or protection standards, including US-NIJ and MIL-STD, UK-HOSDB, and NATO-STANAG. SAW™ helmets have been tested and certified by world renown ballistic test labs, such as BMT, Australia. H.P. White, OBL and Chesapeake labs in the USA, Aitex in the EU and Chinese Army testing labs. Below are several internationally recognized standards we use in testing and manufacture of SAW™ products:

Are there any restrictions on purchasing a ballistic helmet?
SAW™ Ballistic helmets and night vision mounts are ITAR controlled items and cannot be shipped outside of the United States without the proper DDTC licensing.
Our ballistic helmets are subject to any and all restrictions concerning civilian ownership of ballistic equipment. Body armor cannot be owned or sold to persons convicted of a felony. Residents of Connecticut are prohibited from buying body armor online (unless the buyer is a police officer, Police Department, or military). We cannot ship to Connecticut without proper documentation and ID.
Otherwise, it is completely legal in the majority of the United States to own and use our ballistic helmets.

What is the general lead time to receive my helmet order?
Most of SAW™ ballistic helmets are made to order for our customers in order to maximize their shelf life. Our usual lead time is 15-30 days, for large quantities please contact our sales manager for up to date lead time quotes.
How is your quality control maintained?
SAW™ implements an above industry standard when it comes to management of quality control, starting at sourcing of raw materials from reliable suppliers to storing and manufacturing. Our soft armor materials such as Para Aramids (Twaron® and Kevlar®) which are used in the manufacture of our helmets are purchased directly from their China branch, which their raw materials were produced in wide variety of locations in the world from Australia, UK, Netherlands and so on. All of our material suppliers were carefully filtered to ensure compliance with our quality procedures, and all products that we produce go through our factory inspection, our armor helmets are subject to regular testing in house as well as by third party labs.
What are your normal payment terms?
Our standard payment terms for online purchases is full payment at time of purchase. For large quantities, at least 50 percent in advance is required before production and the remainder is due before shipment. Purchase orders are net 30.
Where is your company and factory located?
Most of our products & accessories are manufactured at our own factory in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, China. Orders usually ship directly from our China factory in order to save the buyer money and cut out the middle man.
How do I place an order with you?
Superior Armor Works accepts orders placed by purchase order or use of credit card on our website. Please contact us for questions regarding purchase orders.
